Savor the beauty of the Rift Valley & rolling tea plantations of Tigoni.
This tour will take us to the scenic Great Rift Valley viewpoint, a geological formation that has created the most gorgeous landscape. The views from its walls take you through the mountains, beautiful farmlands, and lakes over and beyond. I love this tour because of the nostalgia it evokes. With all the city noise and pollution driving through the countryside of Limuru gives you such a refreshing atmosphere. The undulating hills covered by thousands of acres of tea plantations are such a site to behold. You get lost in thoughts as you digest this green beautiful, breathtaking landscape and empty all your unwanted energies into the universe. It’s a slow drive worthy of your mind body and soul. Later we will settle for lunch in a local traditional restaurant, Turi a Mumbi or Equivalent, and sample local Kikuyu traditional foods before heading back to Nairobi.

Itinerary
Pick up from your city hotel is at 1000hrs and head to the Great Rift Valley viewpoint in Limuru. This vantage point offers panoramic vistas that showcase the dramatic landscapes of this geological wonder. As you gaze across the valley, you’ll be treated to rolling hills, verdant farmland, and the sprawling Rift Valley floor below. There is a coffee shop and artisan shop for souvenirs. Later we shall drive back via Tigoni and savour the scenic views as we settle down for late lunch and if possible wait for the sun to go down before heading back to Nairobi.
